My name is Rime Ezzeldin, MD, and I am currently a Transitional Year resident at HCA Florida Ocala Regional on a J-1 visa. I am seeking a PGY-2 (R1) Diagnostic Radiology position beginning July 2026.
Radiology is both a professional pursuit and a personal legacy for me. My father is a radiologist, and my two brothers are an interventional radiologist and an interventional neurologist. Their mentorship, combined with my own clinical and research training, has reinforced my passion for becoming part of a specialty that lies at the intersection of technology, precision, and patient care.
I graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where I consistently ranked on the annual honor list. I am ECFMG certified, have passed all USMLE exams including Step 3 on the first attempt, and completed multiple U.S.-based observerships in musculoskeletal, neuroimaging, and body imaging at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Alongside clinical training, I have contributed extensively to the academic field, with over 20 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as J NeuroInterventional Surgery, AJNR, Stroke: Vascular and Interventional Neurology, and World Neurosurgery.
I bring with me a strong academic foundation, resilience, and a proven commitment to advancing radiology through both research and clinical practice. I am eager to contribute to a program that values scholarship, collaboration, and innovation.
If your program has an opening, I would be honored to be considered. My full application, including CV, USMLE transcripts, letters of recommendation, and MSPE, is available upon request. I may be reached at [email protected] or (346) 679-0744. Please feel free to contact me at any time for additional information and documentation. I Thank you for your time and consideration.

Dear Program Directors,
I am currently a radiology resident at Ondokuz Mayıs University Hospital in Türkiye. I am an ECFMG-certified IMG and will soon begin my preliminary surgery year at Brookdale University Hospital in New York. I am seeking an R1 or PGY-2 position starting in July 2026, in IR or DR, ideally with ESIR or strong IR exposure.
Originally from Sudan, I completed my medical education at Ege University, one of Türkiye’s top institutions, graduating in the top 2.5% of my class. As part of my medical training, I participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program at Aarhus University in Denmark, where I gained valuable clinical experience in a different healthcare system. Now, I am excited to bring my diverse international background to the U.S. healthcare system.
Throughout my training, I developed a strong interest in DR and IR through extensive clinical exposure, including observing and assisting with various IR procedures. I actively engaged in the field by attending international IR congresses such as ET, CIRSE, and PAIRS, which further fueled my passion for minimally invasive, patient-centered treatments.
My application materials (CV, USMLE scores, transcript, personal statement, and letters of recommendation) are available upon request. I would be honored to be considered and would welcome the opportunity to contribute to your program.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
